During the school year, Priory offers four hockey teams: the Varsity, Junior Varsity, B-Team and the Middle School Spring Team. The Varsity and Junior Varsity leagues are for Priory High School. The B-League serves as a developmental league for high school students who are not AAA players. Meanwhile, the Middle School Spring League acts as a preparatory program for 5th to 9th graders aspiring to play hockey at Priory in the future.

The number of Varsity teams depends on the number of players in the program. The High school hockey programs in the St. Louis area is managed by the Mid-States Club Hockey Association. Varsity season runs from September 1st and will conclude by the end of March. Varsity is a 20 game season plus play-offs and JV is a 16 game season plus playoffs. Any students currently attending grades 9-12 at Priory are eligible.

Practice ice is located at Queeny and Maryville rinks. Team practice begins at Maryville on Sunday’s 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the first week of September. Queeny team practice begin in October on Wednesday’s 9 -10:30 p.m. and Thursday’s at 4:15 - 5:15 p.m. Thursday’s are varsity only practices. Please note that game times may interfere with holiday travel.

The B-Team is a developmental high school team designed for 7th to 9th graders. It participates in a 10-game series organized by the Mid States Club Hockey Association. B-Team games are held in May and June. The B-Team does not hold practices in the spring but is encouraged to join the Varsity team practices on Sunday and Wednesday evenings during the fall.

*Eligible players will have the birth years 2009, 2010 and 2011. No 6th or 11th graders can be rostered regardless of their birth year. No Junior Elite, Tier 1, AAA, AAA Lady Blues, Central States Bantam Major, Midget Minor, Midget Major, Central States Prospects Bantam Major or Midget Minor, Midget Major, Twin Bridges Elite, Carshield players. This includes players who have been rostered on the excluded teams at any point during the season.

The Middle School Spring League offers a fun experience for both current and potential future Priory students. The league spans from April to May and features a total of 10 games followed by playoffs. Notably, the Spring League does not include any practice sessions. All Games are played at the Webster Groves rink.

Varsity players receive custom jerseys, hockey pants shells, socks, and a hockey bag. 

Both the B-Team and the Middle School Spring Team are provided with jerseys and socks. B-Team players are required to return their jerseys at the end of the season. 

Members of the Middle School Spring Team are allowed to keep their jerseys and socks. Furthermore, the Spring Team's jerseys are also used as practice jerseys for the varsity team.

The program fee is assessed annually and only at the highest level of play. The following are estimated fees based on previous years:

Varsity: $2,000, B-Team: $900, and Middle School Spring League: $250.
